ABOUT PROJECT

The Project is realized under Standard Grant and is sponsored by International Visegrad Fund.

The project is aimed in conducting the research on financial knowledge and skills, commitment to basic financial products, risk profile of_the_young individual investors represented by students of_economics fields in Visegrad Group Countries as well as the conducting the student competition in the area of the Financial Market – savings and investment. Participants will be students of_Visegrad Group Countries

The objectives of the project
1. Questionnaire research on financial knowledge and skills, commitment to basic financial products, risk profile of a young individual investor represented by students of economics fields. The effect of this part of the project will be comparison results of_research in given countries.
2. Student competition in the area of financial markets – savings and investment. Participants will be students of 4V Countries.
3. Exchange of experience in financial education among teaching staff.

Bożena Frączek, Ph.D. studied at the Academy of Economics in Katowice. Nowdays she works at the University of_Economics in Katowice in the Department of Banking and Financial Markets. She prepares the expert advice for regional and district courts. She is the guardian of this scientific group of students (Students Scientific Society of Financial Engineering at the University of_Economics in Katowice). Her scientific interest is focused on Financial Market and its instruments and mechanisms. She conducts lectures and seminars on bachelor and master level of study. She also participates in research activities in the field of_financial literacy, financial education and financial inclusion of_individuals.
Bożena Frączek, Ph.D. – coordinator of the project
Krystyna Mitręga-Niestrój, Ph.D. studied at the Academy of Economics in_Katowice and nowadays she works in_the_Department of Banking and Financial Market, at the Faculty of Finance and Insurance of the University of_Economics in_Katowice. She conducts lectures and seminars on bachelor and master level of study (in Polish and_English languages) and on postgraduate studies as well. She is involved in teaching the foreign students at_the_University (from 2010 – she is the director of_the Joint Msc Degree in European Business and Finance Programm in Katowice conducted together with The Nottingham Trent University in Nottingham and University of Technology in_Brno). Her scientific interest is focused on the contemporary problems of the international financial system.
Krystyna Mitrega Niestrój, Ph.D.
Assos. prof. Dr. Aneta Bobenič Hintošová, PhD. studied at the University of Economics in Bratislava, Faculty of Business Economics in_Košice as well as at the University of P. J. Šafárik in Košice, Faculty of Law. Nowdays she works at_the_University of Economics in Bratislava, Faculty of Business Economics in_ Košice, Tajovského 13, 041 30 Košice in_Slovakia. She is a Vice-dean for International Relations. Dr Aneta Bobenič Hintošová deals with creating and_maintaining relations with foreign universities, administration of various mobility programmes. She conducts lectures and seminars on bachelor and master level of study and she participates in research activities in the field of business economics and management.

Ing. Monika Bačová, PhD. studied at the University of Economics in Bratislava, Faculty of Economic Informatics in_Košice (master level), the University of Economics in Bratislava, Faculty of National Economy (doctoral level) as well as at the Catholic University in Ruzomberok, Faculty of Theology in Košice, Institute of Theology in Spišská Kapitula (master level). Nowadays, she is an Assistant of Professor at the University of Economics in Bratislava, Faculty of_Business Economics in_Košice. She conducts lectures and seminars on bachelor and master level of study and_participates in research activities in the field of business economics and management. She is the Member of Editorial Board of "Controller Info Szakmai folyóirat" and the Chairman of the examination committee for the professional examination for intermediate level of proficiency in the insurance or reinsurance sector, capital market, supplementary pension savings, deposit taking and lending and consumer lending appointed by the Department for financial supervision of the National Bank of Slovakia
Monika Bačová, Ph.D.
Ing. Tomáš SIVIČEK, Ph.D. studied at the University of Economics in Bratislava (Slovakia) and previously worked in_the governmental and non-governmental sector. Nowadays, he is a head of the Department of Economics and_the_Faculty of Social and Economic Studies of the J.E. Purkyně University in Ústí nad Labem. He focuses on various aspects of competitiveness, innovation activity, cross-border cooperation, and labour market. He is also interested in_incorporation of regulatory impact assessment dimension into these fields, e.g. evaluation of administrative burden, effects of good governance on competitiveness.
Ing. Tomáš SIVIČEK, Ph.D.
Noémi Iszak, Ph.D. The assistant lecturer and recently finishing her PhD. studies at the University of West Hungary, Faculty of_Economics. She is the leader of several innovational researches and the leader of postgraduate courses in_Sopron and the capital city Budapest. She conducts lectures and seminars on bachelor, master and postgraduate level. Her scientific interest is interdisciplinar: she researches financial behaviour from the side of psychology and behavioral economics, and observes the results from the side of companies’ marketing strategies and the effects on market competition.
Noémi Iszak, Ph.D.
Anita Csányi, Ph.D. student. She is studying at University of West Hungary, Faculty of Economics.
Her research area is the presentation of financial statements by national and international regulations
and the relevance of accounting principles in practice. Nowdays she participates in Hungarian National Bank’s educational application program and works at the University of West Hungary in Sopron in the Department of Finance and Accounting
